This actually works tho. It takes the signal from the pedal and improves it before that signal reaches the throttle body.

Snake oil (LOL) 19 pages on this forum so far and not one person including myself who purchased the Sprint Booster had one negative thing to say about it!!! It does what it claims!!! It works!!!

Re: Sprint booster

SolisMotorGroup - I didn't go with the afe mainly because I found this one CHEAP and I'm in Canada so the afe one seems very expensive in Canada.

No he's right. It would appear that afe is the parent brand to Sprint booster. I googled "afe Sprint booster" and the images that came up are the same for the product I bought back in 2014. I purchased mine from quadratec.com under the assumption that the brand was Sprint booster. They even had thier own site.

Re: Sprint booster

Just installed!

Installation: Very very easy. Took less than 5 minutes. Left the drives door open for about 20 minutes before installing and I had no engine light come on.

Location: I tried to install it in the center console however, I gave up without someone else there to give me a hand. I ended up mounting it under the steering wheel hidden in behind the leather. I like the location and honestly, probably won't try to move it. It's hidden from site but yet I can still adjust if I want to...

Performance: Definitely a noticable difference. Revs a lot quicker (responds quicker) and to me seems to rev a lot higher than stock Auto. Tried both Green and Red. I think both feel smooth. Both downshift a lot more than stock. I think that's where the V6 bogs down a lot is the unwillingness to downshift sometimes. I will probably leave it in Green. I think green is a good balance between performance and fuel economy. Honestly, doing to couple of rips up and down a local country road made me want the V8 however, I have to remind myself, I got my jeep to replace a sports car I'd Park in the winter. My Jeep is not a racecar nor a sports car. Would I like more speed? Sure but I also don't want to visit the gas station more than I already do (lol)

Price: This is my favorite part. I was able to find someone that bought a whole bunch wholesale for his company however has moved them very slowly and is now liquidating them. I paid $120 Canadian for mine with local pickup. To give the American's some perspective on that. Amazon.ca has it for $416. And a afe version for $421 (which again is the same one just listed different on Amazon). If anyone in Canada is interested in purchasing one, PM me and I can give you the details.

Overall Impression: Would I buy again? Yes. Would I have spent $400? Probably not. Not because of what it does, it does a great job but because I'm cheap lol. I think I would have had a hard time spending $400 + tax on it.

I've only driven a little bit so far so I will report back in when I've driven on the highway a bit but right now, for anyone on the fence I would highly recommend it.

For anyone that still thinks after all these reviews that it can't work, it's just smoke and mirrors, I will just say this; once you've installed it and you run through the 3 different settings, you can feel a significant difference between all 3 settings. So much so, I feel like you could easily jump in the Jeep without knowing what setting it is on, drive it for one good acceleration and you could pick out which setting you're driving in. It is that much of a change between each setting.
