I was thinking about pulling the trigger on one. Just checked out the site $289.95. Going to wait and see how you like it. Please come back and tell me how it works out. Thanks!

Re: Sprint booster

just got it today and I'm BLOWN AWAY at the difference in power this thing puts out. Its 100% worth it. Better acceleration, 0 lag, feels like a bigger engine

"Wow" thanks for your input sounds like you weren't expecting it to work so well.

Just a few questions....

Is it jerky or pretty smooth when you hit the gas pedal? Also how was the install I looked at the module under the dash and wasn't sure how to unplug it. Someone else said you just see how the new one connects and you can figure out how to unplug the stock module.

Sorry for all the questions. After your positive review I'm probably gonna order one.

Re: Sprint booster

Guys, do you know of whether this works on a 2016 model? Limited 75th to be specific.

Do you have it on sport or race? This is an amazing mod! It is worth every penny. That is good to hear will definitely be picking one of these up for my 15 altitude.

Re: Sprint booster

Mine blew me away too. I set mine to sport and then unplugged the controller. It remembers the last setting so it doesn't need the controller once you set it where you want it. Or leave the controller hooked up, route the wires and mount the little tiny controller and you can cycle through stock, sport, or race. I never figured I would need race mode and I sure don't want to go back to stock.

Re: Sprint booster

I kept the controller on in my 09 and left it on race. I bet it's more responsive with the 8 speed.

How does race feel compared to sport? I was so thrilled with sport I didn't even try race. Lol. I may have to plug my controller up and give race mode a proper chance. Who knows?

Kman09JGC, Is your Jeep the V8 or V6?

Re: Sprint booster

Yeah I'm leaving it in race mode or red. It's not in sport mode but this is sure gonna burn a lot more fuel. It's fun though, il take a picture of the wire configuration later after work, it's simple just to plugs. I also unplugged the controller once I had it set to race mode

Re: Sprint booster

To be honest never even tried sport. Lol put it on race and left it there. My 09 with the sprint booster is gen 2 4.7 with 91 performance tune. When I get it for my 15 altitude which wife drives I'll probably leave controller on and switch back and forth when I drive it on the weekends.

Re: Sprint booster

My Ecodiesel is already pretty peppy off the line after adding the green diesel tune. I'm curious what adding this on top of that would feel like. So far I haven't seen anyone that's done both. I am tempted though...
