Location: I tried to install it in the center console however, I gave up without someone else there to give me a hand. I ended up mounting it under the steering wheel hidden in behind the leather. I like the location and honestly, probably won't try to move it. It's hidden from site but yet I can still adjust if I want to...

Performance: Definitely a noticable difference. Revs a lot quicker (responds quicker) and to me seems to rev a lot higher than stock Auto. Tried both Green and Red. I think both feel smooth. Both downshift a lot more than stock. I think that's where the V6 bogs down a lot is the unwillingness to downshift sometimes. I will probably leave it in Green. I think green is a good balance between performance and fuel economy. Honestly, doing to couple of rips up and down a local country road made me want the V8 however, I have to remind myself, I got my jeep to replace a sports car I'd Park in the winter. My Jeep is not a racecar nor a sports car. Would I like more speed? Sure but I also don't want to visit the gas station more than I already do (lol)

Price: This is my favorite part. I was able to find someone that bought a whole bunch wholesale for his company however has moved them very slowly and is now liquidating them. I paid $120 Canadian for mine with local pickup. To give the American's some perspective on that. Amazon.ca has it for $416. And a afe version for $421 (which again is the same one just listed different on Amazon). If anyone in Canada is interested in purchasing one, PM me and I can give you the details.

Overall Impression: Would I buy again? Yes. Would I have spent $400? Probably not. Not because of what it does, it does a great job but because I'm cheap lol. I think I would have had a hard time spending $400 + tax on it.

I've only driven a little bit so far so I will report back in when I've driven on the highway a bit but right now, for anyone on the fence I would highly recommend it.

For anyone that still thinks after all these reviews that it can't work, it's just smoke and mirrors, I will just say this; once you've installed it and you run through the 3 different settings, you can feel a significant difference between all 3 settings. So much so, I feel like you could easily jump in the Jeep without knowing what setting it is on, drive it for one good acceleration and you could pick out which setting you're driving in. It is that much of a change between each setting.
Thanks for your excellent review. BTW I installed mine in the center compartment. On (page 8) I gave detailed instructions on how I did it, was pretty simple!

Re: Sprint booster

After all of the good reviews I finally ordered one for my 2016 GC Summit. Supposed to be here next week and will probably install on the weekend. Paid $295 on Amazon. I think the price is high but I am tried of the lag time when pressing on the gas.

I tired running a wire through like yourself but I kept getting caught on something! I might look at doing it again one day but right now I don't mind where it is. I kinda like that no one else can reach it and accidentally hit it.

Re: Sprint booster

Sorry if I missed this, but has anyone with a V8 Hemi installed this? I'm assuming it works, just added benefits with the bigger engine. I have a 2015 High Altitude w/ V8.

Re: Sprint booster

Drove on the highway today. Very nice! I like. Going to stay in Green though. Combine red mode with the new BFG'S and I'd need a tanker truck full of fuel to follow me lol

If you decide to stay on green sport mode (or any mode for that matter) you can disconnect the controller completely. Default stays on and your setting stays wherever you set it. I set mine on green and disconnected the controller. It now sits inside the glove box.

I like having it connected below the steering wheel. I will probably never need to touch it BUT it's there if I need to.

Plugging the white clip into the sprint booster was the hardest part of the install lol

I have mine in red mode gas mileage is the same just depends on how you drive. I adjusted my driving style as to how much pressure I put on the gas pedal. What I like about keeping it in red mode over green is that when you want to get on it it's just more responsive.
