Re: Sprint booster

So... I did get mine a lot cheaper however, with the bum test fully engaged (lol). I enjoy it...

I am driving around in red today. I see what others mean, you can drive normal but if you hit the pedal it takes off. I haven't driven much yet but I think with practice it will feel normal.

Sorry you are not getting the same reaction as us. This is going to be a very selective and individual upgrade for people. It does not actually add horsepower, it goes not actually make the Jeep quicker it just makes the pedal react differently.

I like it... I am glad I did it.

I feel the same man. 295$ back in 2014 when I got mine for the 3.7. 175$ would have been more appealing of a price, and that's on the top end of what it should cost. I like mine as well, works to complement the hptune I did on my thro

X2 I bought one for my gen 2 4.7 back in 2014 as well it's worth every penny but like Jeff said wish it was cheaper. Going to order one for my 15 altitude soon. Next to my SC tuner this is my favorite mod.

Re: Sprint booster

So installed mine today and drove around for about a 1/2 hr with it. I know it doesn't make the jeep any faster but it definitely makes it feel like things are engaging a lot quicker and so you feel like acceleration is better. Also it seems to rev the engine up a lot quicker which makes the noise from my aftermarket intake louder and that also adds to the effect of more speed/power. I have the 5.7 Hemi so for the couple people who have inquired about its effect on that engine I would say it's a nice addition and worth the cost.

Re: Sprint booster

I did a little test the other day. I decided to follow the advice of disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes to correct some of the shifting issues. I tried it and it actually worked. It also really helped the responsiveness of the SB. I'm pretty sure its just the tranny shifting better, but I have been running mine on red and the shifting is smoother and less jittery. I'm finally enjoying my Hemi. I still feel the tranny might need a software update, but its good enough now that I won't go in unless something else pops up. Just a thought.

Re: Sprint booster

I got my Sprint Booster today, ordered from E-bay for $255 including shipping. Got it installed and from the first test drive you can tell a noticeable difference in throttle response. I have it set on red will leave it that way and learn to have a lighter touch on the throttle.

Re: Sprint booster

Sprint Booster rocks and I love mine. Drive around in green the majority of the time and rarely use red (too sensitive). Green mode is just perfect and worth every penny bc I feel it every time I tap the accelerator pedal to go.

Same here. Green most of the time, until it's time to show off the truck to a friend

Its not cheap but the lag on these vehicles really sucks and I would buy it again or drive something else. Thats how much I hate that lag.

Re: Sprint booster

Just installed on my '15 SRT and I agree it is a worthwhile purchase. Been running in green mode and the vehicle throttle is much more responsive. It also has the added bonus of reducing cycling in and out of MDS - which drove me crazy!
