Re: Sprint booster

When I add the Trinity after GTHAUS exhaust next month, I'll be selling mine. The Trinity will handle my throttle response and the SB will be too sensitive together.

Re: Sprint booster

It's not just Jeep that has this issue, Harley has the same crap with their tbw.
My 2016 Ultra Limited has throttle response settings via FuelPak3 tuner.
That rids the bike of lag.

On my 09 V&H had a module similar to SB that removed the lag.

Re: Sprint booster

Is anyone aware if the 2014 and newer SB part # SBJE1032S will work on my 2011 GC Overland 5.7? Upon receiving my SB I realized that I bought the incorrect part # from another forum member. SBs site has part #SKU:SBJE1012S listed for 08 -13 GCs. Id hate to learn the hard way by plugging it in and creating unnecessary issues!

The part numbers are definitely different for the post 2014 up. Talk to Sprint Booster customer service before trying anything.

Re: Sprint booster

Just installed the sprint booster on my 2015. Green mode is perfect! Loving it so far, I could never go back to stock pedal feel now.

Installation: Very very easy. Took less than 5 minutes. Left the drives door open for about 20 minutes before installing and I had no engine light come on.

Location: I tried to install it in the center console however, I gave up without someone else there to give me a hand. I ended up mounting it under the steering wheel hidden in behind the leather. I like the location and honestly, probably won't try to move it. It's hidden from site but yet I can still adjust if I want to...

Performance: Definitely a noticable difference. Revs a lot quicker (responds quicker) and to me seems to rev a lot higher than stock Auto. Tried both Green and Red. I think both feel smooth. Both downshift a lot more than stock. I think that's where the V6 bogs down a lot is the unwillingness to downshift sometimes. I will probably leave it in Green. I think green is a good balance between performance and fuel economy. Honestly, doing to couple of rips up and down a local country road made me want the V8 however, I have to remind myself, I got my jeep to replace a sports car I'd Park in the winter. My Jeep is not a racecar nor a sports car. Would I like more speed? Sure but I also don't want to visit the gas station more than I already do (lol)

Price: This is my favorite part. I was able to find someone that bought a whole bunch wholesale for his company however has moved them very slowly and is now liquidating them. I paid $120 Canadian for mine with local pickup. To give the American's some perspective on that. Amazon.ca has it for $416. And a afe version for $421 (which again is the same one just listed different on Amazon). If anyone in Canada is interested in purchasing one, PM me and I can give you the details.

Overall Impression: Would I buy again? Yes. Would I have spent $400? Probably not. Not because of what it does, it does a great job but because I'm cheap lol. I think I would have had a hard time spending $400 + tax on it.

I've only driven a little bit so far so I will report back in when I've driven on the highway a bit but right now, for anyone on the fence I would highly recommend it.

For anyone that still thinks after all these reviews that it can't work, it's just smoke and mirrors, I will just say this; once you've installed it and you run through the 3 different settings, you can feel a significant difference between all 3 settings. So much so, I feel like you could easily jump in the Jeep without knowing what setting it is on, drive it for one good acceleration and you could pick out which setting you're driving in. It is that much of a change between each setting.

Already PM you, hope to hear you back soon.
Thanks.

Sprint booster

The more I drive it the more I can't believe how awesome the sprint booster in green mode is on the V6. Seriously feels like a brand new car and drives more like my BMW! Not sure why I waited so long to look into this thing. Easily one of my favorite mods.

Sprint booster

No different my average actually went up today instead of down lol! It keeps the car in the powerband so that seems to help.

Re: Sprint booster

I'm about to pull the trigger on this for my 2016 75th. I went back through this thread. Can the guys with the 2016 confirm that it does work with 16's. I don't see why it wouldn't I don't think anything changed from 15 to 16 throttle. Thanks
