Re: Sprint booster

Even though it's not the same style jeep. I added the sprint booster on my 09 4.7 after I put Superchip 91 performance tune with Trans app. Was like night and day difference. I removed the tune and ran sprintbooster by itself and turned it off was again night and day difference. Anything with drive by wire it will help.

Just curious, what transmission setting are you using on the Jeep? Eco on/off, sport mode, etc.

Re: Sprint booster

I installed one on my 2013 and love it. Kept the controller plugged in, ran the cable around the left side of the dash so I think it looks pretty slick. Ended up installing the AFE Momentum intake as well. I leave mine on race/red, but there will be times (in snow/heavy rain?) where i'll probably turn it off.

The acceleration is night and day. Passing cars on the highway, going from a dead stop, everything feels better. Well worth the price, if you are able. I bought mine straight off the website.

I typically accelerate pretty gently, just to save money on gas, and you are still able to with this installed. But, when you want a little extra get up and go, its there!

Nice to hear so many similar reviews!

I'm going to order one in a week or so. Please come back and give us your review also.

I notice improvement in every setting. Auto mode feels like sport mode. Sport mode feels like enhanced sport mode. I can't turn off ECO on my 2011, just the light. It just lets me know when I'm driving economically.

Re: Sprint booster

Anyone with a 5.7L Hemi running this?? The lag makes me want to trade in my '15 HA sometimes. I bought the Hemi without test driving it. I really thought it would blow away the V6 and sometimes it feels great and others it feels terrible for a $50K vehicle.

The same unit fits V6 or V8 with auto transmission. Another model covers manuals. With the HEMI also utilizing the drive by wire, I can't imagine the Sprint not having as much or more effect on it as it has the V6. You may notice it more due to the low end torque you have on tap. If you can harness that instantaneously.......🤔

My guess is price and the fact that it doesn't add horsepower or turn chrome to black. But for me, the improved throttle response was all I needed and was worth the money. I was also concerned that a horsepower tune might drive my V6 torque numbers even further up the rpm scale and I don't want to sacrifice bottom end for horsepower I don't use. That is just supposition on my part and I could be completely wrong about the horsepower tunes' effect on the torque curve. Anyway, I'm happy with the results.
Hey, we could be the trend setters.

Re: Sprint booster

I have been trying to tell people that this is the real deal lol. The one thing I hated about my jeep was throttle lag and this fixed it. The above comment is correct a lot people are turning away from this because of the price but it's worth every penny.
