NO lag at all from a dead stop nor from any speed up to 60mph (wasn't on hiway yet) When you step on the gas the vehicle responds instantly. What I like is that I drive pretty conservatively and take off moderately and can still do that but if you need to really take off just hit the gas a little more. It's kinda like getting kicked in the rear and this is with the V6. The red mode may be to much for me when you step on it the rpms shoot way up. I'll probably just stick to the green. Tried to duplicate it by turning it off and hitting the gas harder but wasn’t able to get the same effect the vehicle just responds better with the Sprint Booster!

DallasGC from what I noticed I like this much better then driving the Jeep in sport mode my observation is you have every bit of throttle response but much smoother shifts.

I ran the controller to the storage compartment so it’s out of sight but very accessible.

Is it worth $300.00???? I'm looking forward to putting in some more driving time but from what I observed so far, That's a big HELL YEAH!
Good to hear!

Great review and great location to store it. I look forward to hearing more after you get a few miles on it. Keep us updated.

Re: Sprint booster

Thanks for the review. If you decide to stay in sport mode (green) you can just remove the controller completely. The booster remembers the last setting so the controller is only necessary if you want to change settings. Race is too much for me, off is a loser, so I set mine to green and then disconnected the controller and put it in the glove box.
My next mod might have to be upgraded brakes...lol.

Re: Sprint booster

Still no news on whether this would work in a 2016 (75th anniversary)? :-(

Re: Sprint booster

I thought it should but the website doesn't state that. I know that if it doesn't work I can just return it, my worry is that if it's not compatible it might "break something".

Why not call or write Sprint Booster before ordering?

It's not gonna break something. Jeep us used the same throttle control from 11-16

I bought mine "Used like New" from Amazon. $164.15 from the Amazon Warehouse. It was still in original packaging so I'm assuming it was a return. Looked and works like new.
It doesn't make changes to your Jeep or electronics. It only works while connected and boosts the signal from your accelerator pedal.
