Exclamation SRT8 fitment on a Limited

I'm looking to fit the 2014 SRT8 resonators and tips onto my 3.6L dual exhaust limited and wondering if there is any fitment issues with those huge resonators and oversized tips? Do I need to mod the rear valence? (it’s already set up for duals, but those SRT tips are massive )

Thanks!

The piping isn't the same size as the regular WK2, so you'd have a lot to change out.

Re: SRT8 fitment on a Limited

Thanks pinetar, I'm not looking at the full SRT cat-back but essentially just the reso's and tips. Would a good muffler shop be able to mod the stock 2.5" pipe to the 2.75" pipe coming out of the SRT reso's? or am I overlooking a bunch of things?

Cheers,

I'm honestly not sure, but I think no matter what, you'd be losing some power and it may sound like garbage. Who knows though.

I'd research online and see what people have to say. Or someone else with more knowledge about it than I will chime in here eventually.

Re: SRT8 fitment on a Limited

You would be better off trading in for a v8 GC vs trying to make a v6 sound like a V8

Re: SRT8 fitment on a Limited

Not actually trying to make my V6 sound like something its not, I got rear ended at slow speeds that just crushed one tip and the dealer wants $2g to replace the entire system when its just the tip thats damaged.. hense why I'm going to do something aftermarket and pocket the rest of the cash.
