I bought this as a vehicle to use here in NJ Winter months if we get snow. Being a performance enthusiast, I would like the option to supercharge, but not if it will sacrifice my ability to drive thru snowy conditions. So, do any of you guys with blowers ever use your vehicle in snow? If so, how is it? I'm assuming it wouldn't be too bad.
Hey Grim, welcome. I'm also from CNJ and looking for a reputable shop that would be able to install and tune a kit for my '11 GC 5.7. Any recommendations?

I will definitely keep my ear to the ground and search around to see what I can find. I just don't wanna ruin my Jeep's reliability in the snow. If there is any chance of that happening then I'll just stick to bolt-ons. BTW, I'm out here in Monmouth county. If you ever go out to Old Bridge Raceway track then let me know. I wanna get mine out there to see what she can do in the quarter mile!!

Re: Thinking about an SuperCharger...

I ProCharged my SRT and driveability is great. Get with Johan or JerseyBoy to get dialed in.

It acts completely normal cruising around town except for the whistle.

Look up Krazy House Customs
3974 US-1, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852.
(732) 951-9111

They have installed and tuned a few of our WK2 systems.

Hey RIPP, thanks for the info. From the pics and the address, I would say that Krazy House is the same as Crazy Horse...looks like they changed their name. If it is run by the same guy, Chris, then all I can say is that I won't go near that place for personal reasons. I dealt with them in the past.

Same. Unfortunately I've had a bad experience at one of his other places. So hard to find good work.

SMH, that guy just leaves bad work everywhere. I went to a performance shop that specializes in Mustangs (for my Mustang, lol) a couple days ago. Met a fella there and we got to talking about all the different shops in the area. He too had a horrible experience. Makes me wonder how some people manage to stay in business.
