True dual exhaust for Hemi?

Does this bad boy have true dual exhaust? I was looking at this picture on WK2Jeeps.com and if you'll notice the green component is the exhaust. It seems to converge at some large box thing but I dont know if there are two inputs and two outputs or just one input and two outputs? Can anyone shed any light on this?

Re: True dual exhaust for Hemi?

The 3.6L exhaust system uses two catalytic converters located in the front exhaust pipe and a single muffler, with a single resonator/tailpipe assembly.

The 5.7L exhaust system uses two catalytic converters located in the front exhaust pipe, and a single muffler, with a dual resonator/tailpipe assembly.

Exactly what I was looking for, +rep, I bet it will sound pretty decent.

Re: True dual exhaust for Hemi?

Should be MUCH easier to do a custom exhaust...

High flow cats, to mids, to dual in dual out exhaust... Yumm

It will be interesting to see if the SRT keeps the center exhaust then

Re: True dual exhaust for Hemi?

yep....lose that big center muffler for two small mufflers or no muffler and you have a dual system

Re: True dual exhaust for Hemi?

Or you could eliminate the resonators.

Re: True dual exhaust for Hemi?

You could but you'd still need to separate the pipes from the main muffler in the middle to make it a 'true dual'
