Yep, if you want quick and good value, just buy an Evo

Re: Turbo for Pentastar?

I think you will find that a supercharger will be a better option for the 3.6, as it is a V6 and just begging to have a blower shoved between the heads.
This would give you far better drivablility in on/off road sitations. The twin turbo would not be good for offroad as you will be breaking the driveline due to torque shock when the turbo's kicked in.

Re: Turbo for Pentastar?

You would seldom get to a positive boost situation with a turbo gas engine in normal off-roading conditions.

Re: Turbo for Pentastar?

With Ralphie G at the helm of the new SRT division I'm hoping for a Caravan SRT/6 with a turbo Pentastar under the hood!

I would say the 3.6 as it sits in the JGC is just begging for a centrifugal blower bolted right up front between the radiator and engine. You'd have room for an intercooler too I'd think. Obviously putting it behind the radiator and other heat exchangers will limit it's benefits... but hey... free space is free space and any cooler air is beneficial.

Definitely.

Unless you have a manual transmission and you love burning out clutches

Good luck on that one, took 4 years to get into the old NGC controller, and the new flexray based system was designed with encryption and tampering detection right at the top of the design specs. Probably at least a factor of ten, if not more, more advanced in these areas.
