V6 Exhaust

Ok little help here, at this point im starting to think I probably should have just went HEMI, but I didnt and Ive already done some mods and Ive only had the Truck for 8 weeks so its clearly not an option. Question is, I am contemplating putting an exhaust on my V6 2012 Laredo X. I already have installed the K&N intake. What exactly will the exhaust do for me, ie mpg, power, torgue??? thanks in advance

Re: V6 Exhaust

The quicker exhaust gasses can be exited from the motor, the more potential power the motor can make. Typically, engine's will see a 10-percent gain in performance from the addition of an exhaust like MagnaFlow or Borla for example. They usually provide a small gain in fuel efficiency, because they contribute to the engine running more efficiently.

If you don't mind I like to ask why are you tiring for more power? Is the v6 a dog. I just bought one but i have not received it from the factory yet. Should I opt for the v8. Thanks

Re: V6 Exhaust

the v6 has enough power, unless you are towing heavy stuff. Very smooth engine.. for that, i prefer it over the v8... cant go wrong with either though, toss a coin unless you need the v8 for towing and stuff.

Re: V6 Exhaust

Just trying to power it up a little. I know it's not a sports car but I previously had a 350z so it's a big change for me
