You ever heard the saying its better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it. With statements like the one quoted here and along with your previous post you just proved two things. 1) you are an ignorant individual who has never built an engine nor understands the physics that make an engine work. 2) You are a gullible and simple minded individual that believes what ever you are told and does not have the forethought to research or question what those with an agenda tell you before regurgitating it to others.
With that being said welcome to the Garage.
Here you will find individuals that eat sleep and breath JEEPS of all makes and models. In fact it is safe to say that 98% of the participants of this website know 98% more about Jeep vehicles than both the Stealership and the Mechanics that work for them ( I should change the word Mechanic to parts changer). You see Chrysler corp has a long history of generally not giving a F*#k about customer service, and the mechanics, excuse me, parts changers that work for Chrysler have a long history of not knowing a F*#@ing thing about the vehicles they service. Yes there are exceptions to the Rules and if you search this site long and hard and read the posts you will find the stellar performers with good customer care and good Mechanics. In fact some of the good mechanics and dealership representatives are members of this site.
There is a wealth of information in the Garage and you are more than welcome to browse and take from what it you wish; and from doing so you will remove yourself from the ignorant and gullible crowed. That is not to say that we don't all make mistakes and inadvertently post some bad information, it happens we're all human.
With that being said had you started your previous post with something like
"Hey I heard from the dealer that installing a CAI will void your warranty?"
The response would have been something like
" Actually it won't you're covered under the MOSS act."
Had you wanted to inquire about the Moss act some one would have been more than happy to let you know that in laymen terms it basically states that an after market part can not void your factory warranty unless it is proven that the after market part contributed directly to the failure of the factory part in question.
If you try to but 15psi of boost on a factory Engine and you throw a rod out the side of the block they (the factory) doesn't have to fix the engine under warranty.
If you put a CAI on your engine and the front main seal starts to leak, guess what, sense there is absolutely no way a CAI can make the front main seal leak the factory is going to fix it under warranty.
Again, thanks for joining and welcome to the Garage. I hope from this point on that your journey into the great realm of Jeep knowledge and camaraderie is pleasant and enjoyable.
To the rest of my Garage companions I ask that we not let these couple of posts from Hububub46 keep us from welcoming him/her into our Family.
