Question Volant CAI - bracket too long??

I'm a little confused, everything went very well and easy to install (instructions are weak). However, I am unable to figure out how to attach the bracket to the Filter Box and Stock Bolt. The bracket is too long.

Any idea's??

Flip it over so the "long" leg is up against the Volant enclosure.

You have to fuss with it, but it fits. I'll take you a picture as soon as it stops raining.

Look how much smaller your bracket is then mine. Thanks for the pic, I'm going to call and ask for the correct bracket.

Re: Volant CAI - bracket too long??

If you look at the picture again that I had with the bracket in place. The filter box is already sitting flush with vehicle. When I squeeze the bracket and align it with the bolt hole it pulls the box up about an inch which then isn't flush. I'll probably just run up to lowes and grab a smaller L bracket and be done with this.
