You have a 2014 Hemi that specifies regular?

I guess the wording could be interpreted as such.... although the upper end of the range is usually "midgrade" which the OM is silent about.

5.7L Engine If Equipped
This engine is designed to meet all emissions regulations and provide satisfactory fuel economy and performance when using high-quality unleaded gasoline having an octane range of 87 to 89. The manufacturer recommends the use of 89 octane for optimum performance. The use of premium gasoline is not recommended, as it
will not provide any benefit over regular gasoline inthese engines.

Given that even the same grade, brand, and pump nozzle of gas can't give the same mileage consistently for a full year, it would be interesting to see the science behind this claim.

Re: What fuel do you use?

I have a '13 Limited with the 3.6L, but also with a K&N intake and hypertech interceptor, so because of this I run 89 octane. Runs great! Mostly around town (25-45 mph speed limits) with occasional highway use, and going through a tank of gas I'll average 19-20mpg

honestly, yes. on a stock tune id run the recommend or one grade better it helps it run smoother. one a aftermarket tune, id shoot for the best fuel possible that's also affordable. meaning if 87 is what you can afford, run that. if you want a tune and can only afford 87, get a better tune for 87.

Re: What fuel do you use?

I run 87 bc I read its recommended. Filled up at Costco today for $2.98. Incredible bc I haven't seen that price in forever.
