I'm my old Infiniti FX35, I would notice a 5-7mpg drop during Chicago winters because of warming up the car 10 minutes with remote start.

I imagine it runs about 5 minutes via remote start to cool the interior each time. Figure 3 times a day. I like to open the door for my wife and I don't want her baking before I get around to the other side and start it up. Plus, I don't have the ventilated seats, so the remote start helps cool them also, but anything less than 5 minutes the effect is minimal.

Keep in mind, I run the GDE tune. That seems to help with fuel efficiency all the time.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

Also you have to remember A/C is minimally effective in hot weather with the car idling motionless. It's not even 50% as effective when running down the highway at 60 MPH, pushing air through the radiators.

Mileage is a little better on my 16 than what I was getting on my 14 3.6L.

I have a 22.5 mpg running average on my 16 HA. Never tried to get a pure running highway average as that's not typical of the majority of driving I do so that's pretty meaningless to me.

Not great but who cares never a better time to have a v8. Just paid $1.45( including the 40 cent grocery points) a gallon. And the price of gas is supposed to start a heavy slide this fall, a heavy slide down from $1.85 my god lol. Mileage has become a who cares about a 2 mpg here and there on a different engine.

If it slides that much, maybe I can set up my exhaust that will do one of those "Dump & Burn" shows like the F-111 fighter bomber!

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

My 15HA was averaging 21.2

Less than a week in my 2017, 150 miles and I'm at 18.3, and that is with the new start/stop.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

At 738 miles on my 17 Summit and filling up today, I calculated 19.8mpg. The trip showed 20.2.
