Re: What is everyone's MPG?

My display shows 25mpg's average over the first 1,500 miles of mixed driving with mostly city driving on week days and highway/rural on weekends. This on a 3.6L 8-speed with both my wife and I driving it. Her foot is a little more leaded than mine.

PS. When used strictly on weekdays it plummets to 18mpg's and then ups to 25-26 after weekend highway/rural roads driving (about 150 miles). This is on 90deg weather and sea-level.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

If I had heard it from anyone else I wouldn't have believed it. Recently I had to make a 680 mile round trip following a friend as she made her first trip towing her new RV camper. So, a long boring 95 degree trip through the flat land of South TX following a camper trailer, mostly at 60-61 mph with an occasional sprint all the way up to 65. 28.8 for the first 340 miles, 28.7 for the second. Even if the computer's 10% off I'll take it. Normally I get an indicated 18-19 around town, and 24-25 on a long highway trip at 75. (2014 Limited 4x4, 28k miles). We love our Jeep!

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

Last weekend I took the (12 GC v8 4x4) to Vegas for a total trip of 700 miles. Loaded the diablo mgp booster tune and average a little over 18 mpg. I hated the tune, delays throttle response, keeps the tranny in higher gears for longer. Made passing and accelerating a real pita.
Can't complain about the mpg though. Keep in mind the average speed when driving out here and for my trip was easily 75-80mph.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

6.1 mpg.... city driving. V8 5.7 2013 Limited. Something is definitely wrong. Already replaced spark plugs. Engine seems to be running fine... I guess I'll be taking it to the dealer soon.

I'm not trying to sound sarcastic, but are you sure that it doesn't have a fuel leak somewhere? Perhaps only when it's been running a few minutes, and under power?

6.1 mpg? I'm just a noob (first post - hello!), but that seems a bit low. Is your check engine light on? Any codes?
