What is everyone's MPG?

It is definitely "a bit low". No codes, no black smoke, engine seems to be running clean, brand new air filter, no fuel leak that is visible at any point in time. I thought changing the spark plugs would show me an increase in mpg... It's a full 1 mile less now. Scheduled service for 8:30 on Monday.

Well at least Monday you'll find out. Most things that would go wrong with one cylinder (leaky injector, bad coil, etc) throw a code due to misfire, and you'd probably see one sooty spark plug. Maybe it's something more like a clogged cat?

Please keep us posted. I'm really curious as to the cause of this.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

27000 miles and I'm getting 24.6 on the highway. Not bad for all the power and 4WD.
On my next go around I'm thinking the Range Rover TD6 29mpg's highway. I would like to consider a Grand Wagoneer if it gets to market.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

I just ran a full tank through my "new to me" 2015 3.6. Jeep has just over 5K on her. I got 21.7 mixed driving using a calculator (miles driven divided by gallons to refill tank), but the computer told me 23.5. Anyone else noticing a discrepancy in numbers? I'm not worried about the mileage, it's not bad in my book, just curious about the difference.

Those are definitely not hand calculations and you must be doing 50mph through town. To achieve 26 on the highway you must be going 60mph down a long hill.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

Actually I was driving around Lake Michigan at sea level with no hills at 65 mph. Certainly it was a one time situation but I'm not a liar

I'm getting 11.3 but I'm always in sport or track mode.

I've noticed a slight difference, but it seems to cut both ways. I've had a couple of long distance legs where the calculated mileage exceeded the indicated mileage by 1 or 2 mpg. I think the discrepancies are greater in stop and go traffic.
