What is everyone's MPG?

Well, That was a waste of time. Jeep service told me they couldn't replicate the issue. Meanwhile, the computer literally says 6.0 mpg. I have to take it back next week so the foreman can drive it home overnight for a drive cycle... I'll check back in next week, when I bring it back.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

I have an all stock 4x2 Eco-D with just the GDE tune.

60% in town, at least 20% in dead stopped rush hour traffic, and about 20% on the highway. We average 26.x mpg every tank like clockwork. My wife took a road trip in it about a week ago and ran about 75 mpg and averaged 29.x mpg.

It's been pretty unreliable but we do LOVE driving that Jeep GC EcoD!

That's legit right there

I actually have been testing my milage the last few weeks.
12 overland 5.7 4x4
Same route each fill up which is 85% highway 15 street. About 50% of my highway driving is stop and go traffic.

Stock 15.8mpg
Diablo 91 tune 16.6mpg
Diablo tune and Volant intake 17.2mpg

I would imagine if I kept the speed below 75-80 it would go up another 1mpg and I hate the mds so I typically turn that off shifting the tyranny to stay in 6th instead of D.

Nice. On my last tank, I got 11.1 driving in Sport mode the entire time with one 100 mile round trip highway drive at 75. I don't drive much so I don't care what my mpg is. I wanted something fun and I really thought the Hemi would be a blast. It's ok, but not as fun as I expected.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

Mixed Interstate and town streets I am getting 19+ for the last several days. Keep it between 60 and 70 MPH on the interstate and every day or so, I floor it for an eighth of a mile or so to clean off the plugs.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

Just drove from Philly to Buffalo and back (750 miles) in my 2015 Summit 5.7. Couldn't believe it: 22mpg average for the trip! I'd been getting around 9-10mpg in city-only driving.

The tall gearing of the 8 speed is great for highway mileage.

Exactly. Mine is loafing along at just under 2,000 RPM at 80 MPH.

Re: What is everyone's MPG?

Drove about 200 highway miles this weekend (although I encountered heavy traffic more than once) and my MPG went from 18.5 or so to 21.2

Cruising @ 65-75 most of the time.

That seems low unless you are constantly in stop and go traffic. My around town mileage is usually in the 18.5 range with 25 on the highway.
