Re: What to add next????

I would not use those charts.. They look like they are charts used to represent a variety of different vehicles, all likely 2wd.

You can estimate that you are getting around the previously stated 262 at your wheels, before cai, exhaust, etc....

I agree with you I didn't really think about the additional loss though the front diff. This is the first vehicle I've had with full time 4x4. I would assume that you would still come out ahead of the SRT by 25 hp to the wheels.

Re: What to add next????

With that kind of loss (26% based off of 360HP) that would put a SRT to about (475 x .74) 350 to the corners. Is that number consistent with SRT dyno runs

Re: What to add next????

I would love to throw a whipple 2.9 on my JGC but NY traffic kills it. 500hp to the engine (about 400 to the wheels) is sth realistic with tune cams heads headers CAI and catback brought together with a costum tune. I have a CMR dealer literally 5 min from me. I scored a trinity for 400 and got a water pump as an incentive. I am waiting for the release and will probably buy the cams and heads from arrington and have my cousin who's a mechanic install them. Headers I might have to wait until American racing or kooks come out with a set up from my jeep.

Re: What to add next????

I think an STS turbo Jeep would be pretty cool. Big V8s + turbos is an awesome combo, they have the torqu that you don't really have to care if you have any turbo lag.

disarray is on a distinguished road
Re: What to add next????

I am considering those upgrades as well for my 2011. Any idea if the cam and SC can be combined? Or at that point would I be looking at more expensive upgrades to push that kind of HP? Also, I like fast.. but the main concern is towing (I push my 7200 limit pretty good).

IMO if you go with a SC you need to upgrade everything: cam, heads, pulleys etc. If towing, I'd look at a twin screw set up better than a centrigugal. Power across the rpm range. Just my .02!!
