Which tuner do you use?

I'm looking to get the Hypertech Interceptor but just wanted to know what you guys like and use before I buy it.

Any firsthand reviews would be appreciated.

90% of all mopar hemi 5.7 6.1 & 6.4 use tuners made by diablo sport
from bolt on to fully built motors with forced induction.
If there not the best there one of the best.

Are you using DS as well? I heard a lot about DS, I was leaning towards the Hypertech because it looked like it doesn't really interfere with the computer too much and wouldn't be noticeable by the dealer as much as DS would be. I still have warranty

I haven't read into hiding data from the dealer in a long time but I honestly don't think you will find any facts from any of the tuners confirming their product will do such a thing.
Diablo is definitely the best option for Chrysler vehicles.

Thanks for your input, I might just get a DS instead, it seems like that's the most popular.

I run hptuners. They are becoming increasingly more popular in the mopar world now that they have added even more support for the mopar community.

Nice, that would open up a new world for tuning and Mopar for sure.

Cool, how do you like it and how was it to install? Do you feel a big difference in performance?

I feel I need to clarify this.....hptuners is not a simple plug n play system. It's a full laptop interface system, this allows any parameter within the engine and trans to be modified for full custom tuning. I'm in the process of getting my 3.7 tuned on the dyno using this system.

As it stands now I do not have full knowledge of fuel mapping to do so myself. However, I have fully remapped my ignition on wot. I have also succefully changed gear ratios using this system as there is no other known way to recalibrate the tcm successfully. Even a dealer was unable to do so as the 3.7 never had a 3.73 axle ratio as standard or and option.

So I'll cut this short here. It's a full interface that allows any possible change to be made within the engine and transmission. It's not user-friendly for those looking for an easy to use system, (Heck I have some working knowledge of tuning and I don't know everything yet) so if one does go with hptuners, I recommend a tuning shop to take it too, you'll still save money in the long run by supplying your own software and interface as the tuner won't need to buy the lisence for your ride.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Just need to find a tuner shop that's close to me first since I have no idea how to do anything...
