There is lag. I turned off the HDC in the EVIC settings and a lot of lag was reduced. If you already did that, then this is the property of the stock tuned single turbo.
The Banks exhaust is prolly the best priced for the bang, but I am still apprehensive about it and others that do not provide any dyno curves. I called Banks and asked for dyno curves and they were upfront and said they didn't exist but they certainly did make airflow measurments which are indicative. Indicative or not, a 4WD dyno pull isn't hard to get if you want it.
I removed my mufflers and noticed more top end performance in upper RPM's but nothing down low (linky
). My thoughts are a good tune is what these motors need; the CAI and exhausts make a little more power but tuning is where the real gains can be achieved.
