WK2 5.7L Stock Exhaust

Guys,

does anyone know if I can make the exhaust louder without adding any chips or changing the exhaust? I know in BMw there is a fuse that can be pulled out which opens a valve in exhaust...

Anything like this?

Re: WK2 5.7L Stock Exhaust

My Z06 has this as well, controlled by the unused garage door opener button on the visor. The Jeep does not have a way to do this.

Nothing against the Jeep quality exhaust however, I would suspect the beamer has a better exhaust too lol

You can modify you stock exhaust system with an electric exhaust cutout system. It will require some exhaust work that can be installed by most mechanics or exhaust shop.

I hope this helps

You can just have the mufflers changed out for a more aggressive type muffler. It's a simple job at any muffler shop.

RESONATOR DELETE - very simple/inexpensive mod that has a dramatic impact on the sound. Gives it a nice deep rumble without adding any noticeable drone. You can actually tell that it has a 5.7L Hemi now lol.

I only paid $180 OTD at a local muffler shop to have the resonators removed + add new 4" exhaust tips for looks, only took 1 hour.

I just posted a video of the before and after:
