Re: Yet another exhaust thread! (calling all corsa owners)

I actually bought the Corsa system a week and a half ago or so. Got it Wed of last week and installed it Wed night. I love the sound, but it appears the drivers side tunnel muffler had a bad weld because I have an annoying exhaust leak right now. I'm travling for work this week but wife says the new muffler arrive yesterday so it is waiting for me to install when I get home! I also had a little issue with rattling but it has since gone away but I see where the issue was probably coming from I think. I have to take the entire system back off so I'll probably fine tune it a little more. When I installed it was getting late and I couldn't see very well and the rear most hangar on the drivers side up in the fender area seems to be pulled back quite a distance and allows the muffler hanger post to come very close to the body, so that is probably the source of my problem.

Re: Yet another exhaust thread! (calling all corsa owners)

Hey guys, new to the site but stumbled on it when i was looking for an exhaust. i have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk- v8 Hemi. The sound was almost not existent . So after much research of looking for an exhaust me wife wouldnt hate i came across Corsa. I looked at hundreds of videos on youtube and some were great some were bad. you cant tell by holding a camera up to the muffler point blank. But everyone even corsa who i contacted to make sure a 2015 corsa exhaust would fit on my 2017 tailhawk ,was saying that its what i was looking for. the startup idle has a great deep tone , then once it warms up , the sounds gets really low, almost stock even. When you rev it gets real deep. As soon as you start hitting the gas you start hearing it a little. in the cabin isnt really bad at all. just depends what RPM you are at. if you punch the gas it gets that beast sound you want, but cruising you can get it to be pretty quiet with just a hum inside the car. This echasut is just what i was looking for and the wife didnt kill me. so for anyone who doesnt want an obnoxious loud exhaust but still want a v8 hemi to sound like a v8 hemi, deep startup, quiet when idling, quiet when cruising and beastly when you step on it, this is your exhaust. PERIOD. HOPE THIS HELPED ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING. i spent 2 months looking at exhausts.

According to this video the Corsa sounds way better than the borla. I've had borla atak on my SRT and loved it but they don't make it for the 5.7. I purchased Corsa and I'm waiting to install soon. How did you get it for $1398 shipped. Amazon has Corsa 14991 for $1500

I have corsa 14991 on my ripped v6 and it sounds pretty good I bet it'd be mean with the Hemi

I put the stock SRT catback exhaust on my Hemi Summit with my Summit tips modded to fit the larger diameter. Love it, no drone, mellow but noticeable tone at idle, proper roar when on it but quiet cruising and essentially no loss of ground clearance. They can be had cheap too, barely used. $300 plus shipping and install.

Can you provide link to that price, please?

i put my Corsa 14991 on back in May... you only hear it at 50% plus throttle, but punching it will definitely get everyone's attention, which is a plus in Chicago... even makes the cab drivers get out of your way. I paid $1477 for it from amazon, but again that was 7 months ago. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EJ3BA34

So how much more sound the corsa's are at regular cruise would you say louder than stock?

I ordered the corsa exhaust over a week and a half ago from Summit Racing and it still has not shipped, wth

I did some in depth video reviews. You can find them on YouTube and on this site if you want some more examples. 2011 Summit 5.7.
