'15 Summit with some new winter boots

Picked up some Replika 20" rims and Dunlop Grandtrek sj5's for winter (I have family that works for Goodyear and had some coupons to use). I couldn't get over how hard it was to find a rim that fits the worlds most awarded SUV ever (and wasn't ugly as hell). People seem to like it more then when it had its stock 20" polished aluminum rims on it.

Thought you guys might like the plate bracket I tossed on it also!!!

Wheels look great and love the plate idea. I might steal it for myself.

Thanks bud! Feel free to - I feel like all GC drivers should have that bracket! I got it off the IFD website. It's a nice reminder to the BMW and Audi drivers in my area where the worlds most awarded SUV comes from.

LOL. I have been looking for a non Chrome one. Was thinking about putting a IFD logo somewhere to.

Re: '15 Summit with some new winter boots

TSW Wheels has rims for the WK2 coming out in December. Likely Black Rhino brand. Cousin is a rep. Will post pics once he sends me some demos.

That is a sweet winter setup. I went with black steel rims for now and some Saxon SnowBlazers (identical to Cooper Weather Masters). That way if I bend a rim during our nasty New Brunswick winters I'm only out $90 and a trip to Crappy Tire.

I appreciate it. I don't blame you @ all - I've got friends from NB and I've heard how bad the roads can be even compared to our shitty Ontario ones.

Re: '15 Summit with some new winter boots

I do have my cousin checking on some 18's for a better looking winter setup. The steels suit the purpose but seem to bend and warp easy and have been a bitch to balance. Hopefully I'll get a set of black 5 spokes from him. I figure the 5 spoke will allow me to get snow and ice out of them easier than a closed design. I'm really interested to see what the TSW Black Rhino line will have for us come December. Right now they only have the 20x9 Black Rhino Sabi

Those replikas look great. I see you're in Ontario too. Are you in the GTA? Did you get them from 1010 or do you have any other tips on where to get em from?

I'm in a bit of a dilemma for my winter setup. I have the stock 20x8s on now and was thinking of using the replikas to put either Blizzak DM-V2s or Nokian Hakka R2s on. Any problems with the rims? Is the quality satisfactory? There's nothing worse than a chronically deflating tire due to an easily bent rim.

Those look great on your Summit. Really liking the Goliath reps more and more. Are the tires the same size as OEM?

Hey fattyspecial, check out Simply Tire in North York, that's where I got my 22" SRT8 replicas from.

The owner, Allen, deals a lot with Replika Wheels in Quebec for Jeep replicas. They've got all the options except the SRT8 ones I wanted. Allen had to get those from Factory Reproductions in the States.

Here is the web site for Replika. They have reps for the Spider Monkey & the Goliath along with one I don't recognize.
