Tow hooks weren't too bad to install. Taking off the lower facia was the hardest part. Too bad hooks are an upgrade or an option, should come on all Jeeps IMO. How do you like your roof rack? Debating between a roof system or a hitch mount bike rack. Did you notice a drop in fuel economy when you put it on?

I agree. Tow hooks on a Jeep seem like a no brainer. I love the roof rack I have on mine. I added it when I added my rims and tires so its hard to say if my MPG changed directly bc of the rack. I did add a fairing so I know that helped. My GC is averaging 15.9 mpg with the tires and roof rack. I'm adding a short ram intake this weekend so it will be interesting to see how that effects gas mileage also.

Thanks again for the info, always great to get some input. Still debating the bike rack... I'm assuming with mileage like that you went for the Hemi?? I have the V6 and am around 21 these days. Thought about a CAI - K&N are only a couple hundred bucks. Might help the mpg... If nothing else, should make it sounds better.

K&N is the one I ordered. My brother has a 4 door Rubicon and the sound was night and day. Should sound even better on a wk2.

A bit off topic from the thread title at this point... How did your intake work out? I just put a Thule rack system on last night and it looks good IMO. I'll probably wait for the winter to do wheels/tires. I hate to, but it's silly to get rid of the stockers (which are crap) when they still have life in them
