18 inch All Terrains -

OK - I am looking at swapping to 18 inch rims as I can't really find much in the way of 20 inch All Terrain tyres.
Standard size is 265/60 R18 - I am looking at going to 265/65 R18 - slight increase in wall height.
BFG do their All Terrain tyre in this size -

Anyone running this tyre, this size?

Comments, experiences, photos?

Thanks

I just swapped out the Lattitudes for a set of Toyo Open Country AT2, and couldn't be happier. I went with a 265/65/18 (even though they tried to convince me at the shop that they would rub) and they look great. No rub whatsoever, in fact not even close. Totally changed the look of the Jeep. Waiting for some snow so I can put them through the paces!

I went with the Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 on my 2014 Limited with 18" wheels. The original size was 265/60R18, which I kept.

One thing to double check is your spare. The spare is sized to the same circumference as your original tires. If the new tires are a different circumference, then you should find a matching spare.

Re: 18 inch All Terrains -

My Cooper A/T3s will be arriving today. I can't wait to ditch the Latitudes. The Latitudes are down to 5/32nds at 23K. One of my rear tires has a small gouge on the sidewall. It's not leaking, but I'm not taking any chances -- since it's the wife's daily driver. I stuck with OE size.

Re: 18 inch All Terrains -

I have just last week fitted Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 on my 2012 WK2 with 18" wheels. The original size was 265/60R18fitted with Kumho highway tyre.

New tyres are 114 load rating and compared to the highway Kumho's the noise is only slightly different(not much louder just a different hum) really happy so far, have done 1000 klms on them and would say they are ideal as the tyre has more tread better off road and feel fine on the highway.
Much cheaper than Cooper At3 (had Coopers before and not keen to revisit) as they lasted well but needed to be replaced when still showing 1/3rd tread left because they were SO dangerous in the wet...
