Re: 18" rims to 20" swap

Honda Accord got stuck going up hill near my house yesterday during brief but heavy snow storm. All cars ahead of me turned off on side road before the hill. I just drove slowly up the hill and around the Honda. No spin or slide. I credit Jeep AWD and Nokian WR G3's.
Yes, these are 12 month tires, but do not expect long mileage of summer tires. They are not widely available on web. They consider themselves a specialty tire maker. Mine are from a local independent dealer who is very competitive pricer. However I think Mavis carries Nokian, if there is a Mavis near you.
Have had Nokian WR G2's on our Subaru for over 2 years. I like not having to lug 8 tires around twice a year for seasonal changes. It does depend on your individual situation though.

Discount Tire can get Nokian and they'll price match.

Re: 18" rims to 20" swap

Does anyone know the app weight difference between the 18" and the 20" rims? The 275 55 20's seem to be about 5 lbs heavier than the 265 60 18's, I'm wondering how much I'm adding to unsprung weight.

Sorry for the delay. Wheel without tire is 38 pounds. Checked on the bathroom scale.
I got a really strange look from the wife.
