Hello I am about to get delivery of a 2011 grand cherokee overland 5.7l. (Mexico city) in late october.
I was wondering If I could fit the 20 inch srt8 reps (black) and fith them
the stock rubber that comes with the overland 20 inch rims.
thanks
diego
We don't like your kind comin round here with new jeeps "n" thangs!!!
LOL J/K
Good luck with the new jeep! Do us proud and shut down those GM's and such! But I'm pretty sure they would fit. I'd only double check the bolt pattern and offset.
Thank you for all your helpfull responses, I dont want to paint the stock rims due to the fact that the cost of painting them in a good shop would equal the cost of a set of reps. and the roads here in mexico are pretty bad. (had 2 rims cracked and 4 tires blown in my last cherokee srt8). therefore I would rather keep the stocks as spare.
Anyways I will post pictures upon delivery. thank you all, what a great comunnity.
reps meaning replicas ... since the original Alcoa Forged SRT8 wheels are mucho dinero companies take the same design and make wheels but they are the replicas ... hope that helps
Actually went the "take-off" route for that when the original wheels got too corroded. JK 5 spoke via eBay. I'm sure there will be stuff there for the WK2 in the not too distant future.
You will always find JK Take offs because more people modify those and get rid of the stock set, The WK2 might be a little harder to find that way. But I am looking also because I want some bigger tires for my WK2
PLEASE post some more pics! Have the same color Jeep & I'm going to be picking up SRT reps in the near future. The wife was just asking me to show her what they would look like on my truck...please help me out!!!!!
Did you pick up just the rims or rims & tires together? I can get a decent deal for just the rims but I'm trying to get a good price on a package if I can find one...
Look at the thread I put up, "just got my 2011 jeep cherokee", will have all the pics you need. Yes, I did the wheels and rims at the same time. OC Motorsports in Coasta Mesa, California ocm2524.com
And, from the pics, it seems that the wheel offset puts them too far past the fender line. I don't think the SRT wheels do this. I would check that spec before ordering.
Seems like most companies sell the SRT8 reps staggered (20x9 and 20x10), Is this what everyone is running on the 2011's? or can they be purchase in 20x9 for all 4 corners?
