This setup has been tried and true. It simply works, it's the largest size you can fit without modification to wheel spacing or fenders. I also have QL and it's perfectly fine in Park Mode

I know I've seen some very reputable members using them and I'm going to try the 275 size, but when I see threads like this

Cooper Zeon 275/55/20 do rub

Not Nittos, but same size it gives me pause. What I'm really looking for is someone who has pushed them hard off road without issue and without QL modes to raise up truck.

Thumbs up Re: 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

This tire and size will not rub with this set up275/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers ,Black Chrome 20" wheels, ,, Its close without the leveling kit ,and may have a an issue NON quadra lift , But with the leveling kit and the spacers give it a better stance and helps tire clearance from the upper ball joint

This pic is prior to the 1" spacers ,, I dont have a pic of this after spacers were installed but its a big differance!!

So please take all this good advice

IMO ,, I think its a great setup

Thanks Bart Man for those pics and info. What would you say is the more important mod when going to the 275s. The leveling kit or the spacers? I was surprised in the link I attached above he says the back tires rubbed a bit, I would have guessed the front without the level. Is the fender or the suspension bolt the bigger issue?

20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

In regards to the noise level of the Nitto Terra Grapplers, I think it's really very negligible. I found driving from St. George, Utah to Monterey, California, the noise level really had to do mostly with what type of road surface you're driving on. I know they track well; take my hands off of the steering wheel and they go just as straight. The vehicle does seem a little heavier but that I like. I have a Diesel and the fuel mileage was still very good; especially compared to my 5.7 Hemi. I've had them off road as you can tell by my pictures but hope to go skiing next week maybe to test them in the snow ( it's 70 here). Oh and my tire size is 265/50R-20 ; same size as the Good Year OEM's. The Nitto Terra Grappler is a great tire and would recommend it for an all season tire.

I would say that both the Leveling kit and the spacer kit are needed for this size tire and wheel , The tire will rub when the wheel is turned while hitting a bump, besides i didn't like the close clearances with out the leveling kit ,, as far as the wheel spacers , the tire does clear the bolt and the tire has no reason to rub the bolt , but I wasn't comfortable with the closeness of that ,
I know its not a straight forward answer but thats just my opinion
I hope this helps

I know it's the same size as the stock, but does your Nitto look 'bigger' (more rubber less steel) then the stock wheel/tire combo due to it's more agressive nature.

Re: 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

You'll notice that the Nittos are completely fine because for some reason even with the same "numbers" the OD is just a hair smaller than others. Others will work, but YMMV

Yeah, but you have QL to lift when off road and the wheels are flexed.

Looks like more rubber and less steel. And you're right it does look bigger now that I think about it. I know for sure it's more aggressive looking.
