Re: 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

TG's 285/50 on FR srt reps satin black 20x9 +35 offset wheels.

according to Nitto's website, these are 3/4 inch larger diameter than the 265/50 TGs I had on the 20x8 wheels, so I like to think of it as I got a 3/8 inch lift with the bigger tires

this is on a 2014 diesel Limited without QL, no rubbing

the stance with these wheels/tires is much better looking IMO, and the Brembo's don't hurt the looks either

Re: 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

Looks good shoestring. So no spacers or any other modification to the suspension. Just no rims/tires on standard suspension and all is good.

Good to know. Just realized those rims have a +35 offset compared to stock +56 so that would push them out away from the stud/ball joint a bit. I'm looking to put that size on the stock 20" rim.

I bought mine from tirebuyer.com which had a fatwallet 3% rebate if you went through their link. Cheapest price that I could find. http://www.tirebuyer.com/tires/nitto.../p/tv154000558

Re: 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

Hello all,

First post here. Lots of good info. I have a 2012 JGC Altitude. Does not have the nice air lift suspension. I was looking to get the Nitto Terra Grapplers in the 275-55-20 size for a little bit nicer look IMO, but someone said that they will probably rub?

Re: 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

Optimally, you'd run chains front and rear. That said, check the clearance of the control arm in the front.

I purchased spacers so I'd have more space between the control arm and tire/chains specifically for this purpose.

Also, I plan to run with QD in raised mode (running a 32" tire) whenever chains are installed.

YMMV.
