Re: 2011 with new tires

I like that ... only thing I would have done try matching the lip or something the same color as the car but that is mucho work but it looks real nice

Re: 2011 with new tires

Personally I think the muds look a little out of place on this truck. I think I'd go with AT's myself. But that only applies on the street, on the trail it's gonna look just fine.

Re: 2011 with new tires

Honestly your pics make me want to get my overland in black instead of blackberry now. The black around the wheels, and the wheels you have just don't look right with that blue color. Originally I wanted that blue too, but now I'm thinking of going black. Then again I don't like black rims at all. Maybe its just the rims

Re: 2011 with new tires

I think I might try and paint them the blackberry so it matches.

On the stock 18" wheels on my laredo X, the balancing weights are inside the wheels, not on the edge like they are here.

Did you black the wheels yourself? If so, would you consider going with matte black instead of gloss? Might look more bad-ass and would match the un-painted plastic around the lower-edge of the body.

Re: 2011 with new tires

Dont base your ride on others opinions. Yes its great if others love it too, but if its what you like, keep it how it is.. Don't paint it to match if you don't feel the need.. It looks great either way and if your happy were all happy..

5.7Unlimited is just really nice
Re: 2011 with new tires

The blacked out wheels look terrible with blackberry paint. and that jeep needs a lift in a BAD way with that size of tire. looks like a CR-V right now.

Re: 2011 with new tires

Wow, seriously! The man just spent some money getting new wheels! I think it looks pretty good, beefy tires and all! If you really feel that this looks like a Honda CR-V maybe you need new reading glasses LOL. Enjoy your ride!

Re: 2011 with new tires

bh22jeep - how do they sound when you're driving on pavement? MTs are loud as balls, but with all the noise insulation in the WK2's cabin, is it muted enough that it's not annoying? I have these on my Tacoma, and the road noise can be annoying, though I can tune it out pretty well. That truck has pretty much no noise insulation, though.
