2012 JGC Laredo wheel/tire question

Hello all, Im new to the forum and a new jeep owner. I just bought a used 2012 Laredo- it has the ugliest 245/70/17 tires/stock wheels combo I have ever seen.
I know there are a million posts on tire/wheel combos, but it is a lot to take in since most people have lift kits or have the overlands with the air lift.
I don't want a lift, don't want the tires to hit EVER, don't want mud running tires, and I want something black in a 20". Can you guys/gals recommend a wheel size/offset? maybe some decent all terrain tires? get a lot of snow here in MN! THANKS!

I usually go to www.tirerack.com and input make, model, etc. That should give you several styles to chose from, plus their tech specs (offset, bolt pattern) are always spot on.

Re: 2012 JGC Laredo wheel/tire question

I would recommend wheels from Sanford and Son see grady.com or check out pimpnwheels.com. Only problem with Sanford and Son is all orders have to be placed by phone and you can only place your order with Aunt Esther who is a mean old thing whose only available when the batteries die on her toys. You have to send a money order from the USPO. They dont do Paypal, credit cards and they wouldnt know bitcoin from a Betamax.

Then check out tires from Basmatitatra.com They are an Indian tire company just starting to sell their products in the US. They are the largest tire company in India and their tires are direct rip offs of Goodyears down to the molecule and they cost you about 20% of what real Goodyears cost.

wangwongbigo.net a Chinese tire company whose tires dominated in showroom stock racing and in off road racing and rallies in China and Malayasia. They sell more tires in a year than Michelin and Goodyear combined. They are negotiating with the France family to supply NASCAR in 2017. They are the official tire of the Chinese Government.

Dude get off your Playstation 4, stop texting that alleged hotty at the local Walmart she is really a he you did notice her adam's apple right, and hit pause on the internet porn and do your own research after wiping off your hands.

Was all that really necessary? The guy is just asking a simple question...you could have simply moved on to the next post.

How embarrassing for you taking the time to write that out.

Thumbs up Re: 2012 JGC Laredo wheel/tire question

OP needs to a little research and read some previous threads on tires. Come on he is being lazy and why reward laziness. Its not like his question was unique or rare. " A lot to take in" Oh and folks have the air suspension and most have lift kits? Huh lift kits on a WK2! really. What % of WK2s have lift kits? Less than 5%! Come on.

He wants ATs since he gets a lot of snow. Dont recommned ATs for the snow but for the other 3 seasons recommend Toyo Open Country ATs or a similar tire from Michelin, Yokohama, Mickey Thompson, Bridgestone, Dick Cepek, and BFG.

Okay OP you want a set of winter tires for the snow in MN. ATs just dont do well in the snow, cold, ice and rain in MN.

Wheels find something you like that you think is purdy. Try Dick Cepek or Mickey Thompson.

Good save, guy-blow. Great advice after bashing the OP.

It just baffles me you worked that hard to come up with what you thought was a witty and funny response, but instead failed completely.

Classy job with the racial and transphobic jokes too. They really proved your point.

And I'm not sure who you are talking to, but if you think he was being helpful, just get off the internet for your own sake.

He is still an asshole though!

Psychological projection was conceptualized by Sigmund Freud in the 1890s as a defense mechanism in which a person unconsciously rejects his or her own unacceptable attributes by ascribing them to objects or persons in the outside world.[1] For example, a person who is rude may accuse other people of being rude.
