Congrats in your GC!
Thanks! So far, I love it, but I've been wanting the GC for a few years now. So let me ask you, I saw a set-up on a earlier post, that included:
Eibach 1.6/1.8 pro kit
22" SRT Factory Reproduction
265/35/22
I can't remember who's set-up that was but, I'm thinking that is what I want to do. I was wondering if that was 9" or 10" and if that set-up would give me enough tire, not a big fan of the really low profile tires. Any help would be greatly appreciated from the thread. I'm new at this but I want to do it the right way!

If you go with a taller tire a drop isnt needed with the 22's.

Pretty sure he has it lowered into the park height in this photo, so you're not going to be able to fill the wheel gap entirely with just a larger tire. Kind of misleading.

Re: 2012 wk2 lowered on 22" srt8's

This is what a 285/45R22 looks like, sans QL and lowering springs, which is even larger than the previously mentioned size (285/40) that most use as the limit for the 22's, from what I've seen.

Still some wheel gap.

Anyone running 285/45/22's?

Is this set-up standard height with 22"? I like the looks of this as well but, the lowered look is a bit more appealing.

No one said "entirely". My posts were meant to show you can close the gap with a larger sidewall.

I've seen the pic and video of the Terra Grappler 285/45/22's but not sure if he rubs not.
Answered my own question by searching. "Very slight rubbing on the passenger side push pin in the fascia. They sit a little past flush and look really aggressive"

Would this fitment work on a stock 2012 laredo? I love the look of that truck, exactly what I want, but I really don't want to change suspension. Any way around that slight rubbing?

I couldn't find width and offset of the 22's they're using, but just from the looks, they appear to be 22x9 Factory Reproductions. So they'd be +30 offset. You may be able to get away with more clearance using the 20x10 size that are +45 offset, but I doubt it would make much of a difference.

That's just my 2cents though.

Re: 2012 wk2 lowered on 22" srt8's

Lot's of good info in here. I am looking for a look similar to the OP before the drop (As I dont plan on dropping my '15 Altitude). With a 22x9 from factory repo's on 265/40/22 tires I will be fine with no rubbing correct? Or am I better off going with the 22x10 to get the +45 offset with a tire like a 285/45/22?

Following as I would like to purchase a set and really want to go with 285/45/22 with QL and use 22x9
