2013 Overland Stance

Hi, i'm new here.

Just got my overland last week. Been doing some simple mods.

Blacked out the wheels, grill, rear chrome and badges (i may debadge completly, but for now i'll live with them black just to see.)

I've been digging around the forum for a few weeks and have been struggling to find some great looking wheels that will give the cherokee a bit more of an agressive/wide stance.

The only ones that i have seen so far are the SRT8 wheels that JTS97Z28 had on his overland.

Seen some repros on ebay for about a grand for all 4...

How far out would the SRT8 wheels protrude compared to my stock 20s?

There any other wheels that might be similar in terms of wider stance?

Has anyone ran a slightly more agressive tire on SRT8 wheels...id like to be able to do some light off roading in them...desert, some mild rock/hill stuff...

Thanks!!!

Re: 2013 Overland Stance

I've replaced the stock set up with wk srt8 gloss black 20X10 repros wrapped in 295/45/20 Hankook Ventus' ST. Completely changed the look of the car. You can view some pics on my other post. Completely happy with the whole set up!!!

Re: 2013 Overland Stance

Nice! Question off topic, how did you go about blacking out the grill mesh?

The grill mesh is already black stock. As far as I know the only grill with chrome mesh is the Overland Summit. His is not a Summit, so all he had to black out was the main frame parts of the grill.

Re: 2013 Overland Stance

Yeh, the mesh was already blacked out. I just plasti-diped the grill/everything else. Gonna do the side view mirrors soon-ish.

I am considering a staggered srt8 wheel for my jeep.

20x9 front and 20x10 back

what would you guys recommend for tire size?

265/50 20 front?
285/45 20 back?

the tire place in town i was speaking with was recommending 295/45 20 for the back.

What do you guys think?

Re: 2013 Overland Stance

Go with 275/50 front and 295/45 rear. That will keep the overall diameter within 0.25mm.

agree. bigger sidewalls fill up the fender gap a little better anyway.

I would recommend going with
265/50 front
295/45 rear

This would keep the diameter within 0.02 inches of difference
