2014 Summit w/Mopar Wheels and Duratrac Tires

I have been on this forum for a long time, but haven't really had anything to post. I am finally getting around to making some improvements on my jeep and wanted some feedback.

I have a black 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit V6. Winter is approaching and I would like to replace my wheels with the 18 mopar black cast aluminum (18" Black Cast Aluminum Wheels for Jeep Grand Cherokee - Item # 82212154 #82212154) wheel with 265/60R/18 Goodyear Duratrac tires.

Has anyone done this yet? If so, would you please provide pictures.

I have not seen anything on this forum to indicate that this wheel/tire combo will NOT work on the summit, but if I am missing something please let me know.

I plan on changing the wheels within the next 2-3 weeks assuming I don't hear from anyone on this forum that it can't be done. I also plan on adding the mopar cold air intake. I will provide pictures once everything is complete.

Thanks for any feedback.

You should have no issue with 18" wheels on your Summit. You can't go smaller, but 18s are just fine.

I think my bigger concern were the tires. The duratrac tires are a little meatier than a lot of tires I have seen people putting on their summit (i.e., bridgestone).

You should be fine. They're still measuring in right around 30.5", which is stock and allows for plenty of clearance.

pinetar is correct...the overall diameter of the tire is about the same as OEM and that's a good thing. Odometer and speedometer will still be accurate, etc.

Re: 2014 Summit w/Mopar Wheels and Duratrac Tires

There are several guys here with that exact setup (just search duratracs) as I can't remember their screen names.

I'm running the duratracs on my stock 18's with no issue as are many other people here.

Actually I'm running 275/65/18 with no issues - so you're fine.

I have Revo2's (18") on my WK2 and duratracs on my JK. Great tires.
