Really that's interesting and you are probably right. But I assure you though, a couple pounds can make a lot more difference than .0002 mpg

I also wonder if the new pressure is related to the low rolling resistance. Maybe they don't get as hot so they can run them higher to start with.

et2011, there is another thread here about the NT421Q...please post your thoughts in it once you have yours installed, etc. I really like that tire and do plan on putting them on when the time comes, as I indicated previously. They are perfect for my needs.

I too was dissapointed in the tread life of my OEM Lattitudes. I opened a warranty claim with Michelin (done through a phone call), had a local tire dealer do an inspection, and they gave me about $75 off each ($300 total) on 4 new LTX MS2's which I am more happy with. Good luck!

Was this a chain tire store, or a small local one?

I could live with 300 bucks off a set of the MS/2s as the Latitudes wear down.
Were yours showing tread wear indicators or something when you traded?

Re: 2014 WK2 Tire Treadlife

Michelin will tell you to choose an "authorized dealer" (there are many, but must be brick and mortar store) to do an inspection of the tires. I chose Mavis because they had the lowest starting price for the MS2's. It took a few trips/calls to Mavis to get them to communicate with Michelin, but was not too heavy a lift for the savings I got. There was also a $75 rebate at the time which the discount tire place thought might not go through because it was a warranty claim purchase, but it did.

Also, my old Lattitudes tires were at around 4-5-6/32nds when I pulled the trigger on new ones.
