pbDave- when is the install? I'm looking forward to hearing how it went and hopefully some pictures..
I have put off the Eibach install for the moment - was reading about the rear load-leveling shocks not working so well with the springs. Really don't want to swap out the shocks as we do tow with it quite a bit. Now I am stumped!

there is no way to lower and stay lowered with the load leveling shocks. once you start driving around they will add lift to where they think is level causing rake. you must switch to non load level shocks

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

Well I had a couple small set backs...

The wheel and tire package arrived with the wrong lug nuts. So I had to drive all over town trying to find a place that had black lug nuts that would fit. I finally found some used ones which work for now.

Then I noticed that one of the center caps from the XO wheels had broken retainer tabs.... None the less I got it all figured out and I will be in contact with Element Wheels to get replacement parts.

The good news.... I love the new look and there is NO rubbing! Just gotta get this thing lowered a bit to fit my tastes.

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

Love how concave they are that last pic really shows it off! There definitely wouldn't be any rubbing for now. When you lower is the question, with people or cargo in the rear. Any chance you know the offset they provided you?

I figured there would be issues with the lug nuts never fails when I order wheels I always have issues with lug nut fitment with the ones they include

Anyway looks great and will look even better once lowered. What springs are you going with ? I'm thinking mid-drop road magnets.

The non level OEM rear shock and mounts aren't that much so I'll be swapping to those most likely and putting my load level ones for sale since I don't tow heavy and if I did it would only be a jet ski or quad

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

Thanks skunkd!

The offset is listed as 38mm. I just ordered the non load leveling shocks and upper mount yesterday. I'm still trying to decide on which springs to go with though.

I just tried my hand at applying 3M wrap to the chrome window trim..... Man that that definitely takes some patience trying to get the edges cut perfectly. Think I'm going to see what it would cost to have the front grill, chrome trim and maybe roof professionally wrapped tomorrow.

Yea I let the pros do it, Definitely not something I have the patience for.

When you get a chance, do you happen to have the part numbers for non load leveling shocks and shock mounts? I'd like to order those up soon.

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

Well after a good talk with a vendor and the information found on these boards I've decided to go with the Road Magnet Mid level springs. Placed the order today and hope to have them in a week or two.

Same route I'm going aggressives look amazing but the ride and rubbing I would not be able to deal with.

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

I ordered my 22x10.5 XO Miami's with 305/35/22 with the mid level springs and non load level shocks and mounts. Should all be here in 3 weeks just in time for winter Springs are backordered and so are the wheels!
