Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

How do you like your Tokyo wheels so far? I'm thinking of getting the same type wheel, but may go 22x 10.5 with 285/40r tires. Did you get size 22x 9 instead of 22x 10.5? And why? Are you satisfied with the deepness of concave of the Tokyo wheel? Is the offset +38? Is there a choice of going down to +30?

I love the wheels and the Jeep gets plenty of compliments.. Well at least that's what the wife tells me. I went with the 22x9's but thats just because I was worried about rubbing. I think Skunkd got the 10.5's and didn't have any problems though. Offset is 38mm. Not sure if 30mm is an option.

correct my wheels are 22x10.5 +38 contact element wheels or need4speed for wheel tire packages. lowering springs blew out my rear shocks so i just ordered blisten HD's for it and the srt8 rear sway bar and end links

I went with XO carracas in 22x10.5 and 285/40. There is literally no rub at all. I have 38 offset and love them. People stop to take pictures. Ironically, I am selling the jeep!!!! Any interest or know anyone???

pbDave- when is the install? I'm looking forward to hearing how it went and hopefully some pictures..
Hi Rick. I'm confuse. Did you end end up buying the 22x10.5 or 22x9(xo wheel manufactures recommendation)? From reading your threads I thought you decided to go with 10.5".

If you have load leveling shocks you have to change shocks no matter what in the rear if you lower.

In my opinion I would just get mid drop road magnets, the eibach rear drop is really disappointing and doesn't justify the cost.

Just get road magnets with atleast new rear shocks (blisteins probably the best bet mine are going in soon)

I am looking to lower the vehicle with Eibach springs. Yes I know this seems backwards but it is what it is.

Question #1 is: Will the 2014 Eibach springs (part number 28108.540) work on the 2015? If so, do I also need to replace the rear shocks? I already called Eibach but that haven't had a chance to see the 2015 yet and can't confirm it will fit.

I also want to run the matte black 22" XO Tokyo wheels. These wheels come in a 22x9 and 22x10.5. I'm guessing the 10.5 is too wide, so...

Question #2 is: if I go with the 22x9 wheels what is the widest tire I can run on that wheel without having to deal with rubbing? I would consider running different front and rear tires if the look was right.
