2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

So I'm trying to get the wife's new 2015 white GC Altitude looking a bit better. It has the V6, 4WD and tow package.

I am looking to lower the vehicle with Eibach springs. Yes I know this seems backwards but it is what it is.

Question #1 is: Will the 2014 Eibach springs (part number 28108.540) work on the 2015? If so, do I also need to replace the rear shocks? I already called Eibach but that haven't had a chance to see the 2015 yet and can't confirm it will fit.

I also want to run the matte black 22" XO Tokyo wheels. These wheels come in a 22x9 and 22x10.5. I'm guessing the 10.5 is too wide, so...

Question #2 is: if I go with the 22x9 wheels what is the widest tire I can run on that wheel without having to deal with rubbing? I would consider running different front and rear tires if the look was right.

I'm fairly positive these are 22x9 all around.
Tire should be 275/40R22

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

Well I have decided to order the XO Tokyo in matte black (22x9) with a 285/40/22 tire. Still trying to decide between the Nitto 420S and the Toyo Proxes ST II though.

pbDave- when is the install? I'm looking forward to hearing how it went and hopefully some pictures..

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

XO wheels recommended against the 22x9 with the 285/40/22 so I went with the 22x10.5 wheel instead. I ordered them through James at Element Wheels. He was a big help. I hope to have the wheels in a week or two.

What size tire did you go with on the 22x10.5? What are the offsets of the tokyo's at 10.5" wide ?

I'm looking at 22x10.5 xo Miami or Tokyo myself as well!

Do you have the factory tow package?

Rick If you wouldn't mind can u pm me on how much the wheels cost and if u got a wheel tire package ? I wanna make sure I'm getting a fair price.

Who's car is that with the tokyos mofsteel?

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

Yes I got a tire and wheel package. Went with 22x10.5 XO Tokyo in matte black with 38mm offset and the 285/40/22 Toyo Proxs ST II with Jeep Tire Pressure Sensors.

And yes I have the tow package. Next mod is going to be a lowering kit, so I'll switch out the rear shocks and shock mount to the standard ones.

Re: 2015 GC Altitude 4wd springs/wheels questions

Found some better shots of the True Blue one with the XO Tokyos...

Looks to be using 285/40R22. I like the look, especially if all the chrome was deleted to match.

They have some really nice looking WK2s in their gallery.
