20x9 vs. 20x8

Just wondering if I go with the 275/55/20 is there a real difference if I put those tires on a 9 inch rim on my stock 2015 Laredo? I guess it will just spread out the tire a little more? I'm leaning towards the Goliath rim.

Re: 20x9 vs. 20x8

There's very little difference on how the tire looks on the rim. Where the difference will come is on the offset.

The offset of the stock 5 spoke 20's is 56mm & the Goliath 20's is 35mm in a 20x9 rim.
The pic I attached shows that the Goliath is a more aggressive offset...sticks out a bit more.

There is also some pics of 275-55-20's on both the OEM 20" rim & the Goliath 20" rim.

Hope that helps....the whole wheel/tire thing can be a bit daunting.

Does anyone know the brand of the tire on the red jeep? I'm not sure whose Jeep that is, but is looks really good.
