A matter of preference. I'm not a big matte fan so gloss was the obvious choice for me. My buddy has the satin reproductions and they seem to show dirt more and frequently than the gloss.

Yeah I was constantly cleaning my satin black wheels on my Lexus and the gloss always looked cleaner.

Re: 22x10 285/40/22 on 14 Overland?

As far as offset, the wheels I'm looking at are 22x9 with a 5x127 pattern and +30mm offset. Those should be good, correct? Also, a sales rep from factory rep said minimum wheel width for 285s is 9.5. Is that true? I wanna put 285s on 22x9

If I were you I would either get 22x10 with 285 or 22x9 with 275.

Re: 22x10 285/40/22 on 14 Overland?

I'm leaning towards 22x10 all around, but will I need spacers up front for rubbing? I won't be lowering my Limited at all

I have 22x10 all around with 285s and no rubbing. I have the quadralift and even in park mode I have clearance.

Re: 22x10 285/40/22 on 14 Overland?

Agree with above. Used no spacers.

Complete swap with the 22x10 and 285/40s no rubbing at all with quadralift, aero mode, park mode, wheel lock to lock, etc

Re: 22x10 285/40/22 on 14 Overland?

Hi Fellas!

I am a new GC limited owner and would like to confirm with you guys that the tire and wheel setup I am choosing will work with out any rubbing or issues.

Stock suspension

Wheels:
Niche Milan M134
22x10 on all (4) corners
+35 off set

Tires:
Nitto 420
285x40x22

I have seen a few posts that claim there is a little rubbing and a bunch that claim this tire/wheel combo fits perfect without any rubbing.

Your help and advice will be appreciated!

Thanks

Re: 22x10 285/40/22 on 14 Overland?

I ran +45 mm offsets with 22x10. Plenty of clearance with the front calipers. 285/40/22 will not rub at all.
