The 45 sidewall might be too thick especially if you have quadra lift suspension because there's a bolt that comes awfully close up front. Not sure. Maybe someone on here can pitch in.

Hey KBMoon, from your clearances, do you think that the 305-35-22 Pirellis would also work on the Overland.

I know that the default tire size choice for all of the guys with SRT's.

The offset calculators show that the overall diameter of the 35-35-22 is around 14mm less than the 285-40-22, although more portly in tread width.

Anyone else have any thoughts on whether this would work on an Overland?

And KBMoon, do you have any pics of your setup at normal ride height?

Thanks

You should be fine with that setup. It also depends on the offset of your wheels. There's another member here with an altitude that's running 305/35/22 without a problem.

Thanks buddy. The rims I'm referring to are yours.

2014Laredo is running the exact setup on his Overland that I'm referring to & he said he's got no issues whatsoever now that an uneven wear issue was resolved.

Re: 22x10 285/40/22 on 14 Overland?

don't get the 285/45/22 if you don't want it to rub...I have this size and they rubbed...I had to modify the inner well to stop it from rubbing...but on the highway if you hit a hard bump it would still rub a little...the 285/45 is just a bit too tall...I ended up buying a 2 1/2" RRO lift kit but decided not to put it on...I instead just changed to a set of 20" wheels for now...I will go for the 305/35/22's next as I know they'll fit

the overland isn't really any different than the other models on the the highway as far as ride height ..as you know you only get the added height at slow speeds.

New here also fella's and just trying to clear things up because I didn't see much mentioned about lowered with the 285/40's. I just put the 1"-1.5" lowering springs in today and plan to order 22x10's all around this week. Will the 285/40's clear being lowered also?

Re: 22x10 285/40/22 on 14 Overland?

I just ordered the 20x10 plus 50 offset spider monkey replicas for my 2014 overland. I am not sure between the 275/30 toyo proxes 4 plus or falken Azenis PT? Also hoping this set up will fit. Or should I go with 295?

I think the 275/30 would be like rubber bands on the rims. Most of the guys going with the Spider Monkeys are going 295-45-20.

That's a good look.......like the SRT.

Re: 22x10 285/40/22 on 14 Overland?

I think I have found my answer. It looks like a 305-35-22 (30.4" x 12.01") which is closer to factory tire height or a 385-35-22 (29.9" x 11.22") are my better choices. I'm getting prices on both as I noticed there are not as many tire choices out there for the 305-35.
