255 45 20 Question!

I thougth that all 255 45 20 size tires would fit a 20X9 rim, but when I'm shopping on Ebay and I check the compatibility it says "this part is not compatible with 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8".
The only tires that work this far are the Toyos Proxes, how does this work?
Not a expert on this subject.
I appreciate any feedback.

Re: 255 45 20 Question!

All 255/45/20 tires will fit fine on a 20X9 wheel but maybe that tire does not have a load rating high enough for a SUV maybe it is a car tire only.

Re: 255 45 20 Question!

yes...could be load rating or it could be that the Jeep SRT8 came stock with runflats and none of those are runflats.
