265x50x20 question

Will a 265x50x20 fit on a 10" wheel with no problems? Will it look funny or ruin the tire?

Re: 265x50x20 question

The specifications for the tire(s) you're considering should have the wheel width range listed. As long as the tire includes a wheel width that encompasses 10", you should be fine. If the range doesn't go up to 10", you don't want that tire on those rims.

Doesn't say on the sidewall but dealers are telling me no.

Re: 265x50x20 question

You should be able to find a specifications table at the tire manufacturer's web site that tells you what the wheel width range is for the particular mode of tire in that size is. But I suspect if the dealer is saying no...they probably already looked it up.

Re: 265x50x20 question

OK thanks...I have 4 like new 265x50x20 Nokian wrg3 suv tires. I guess I will have to buy some 9.5 SRT reps for the winter. I'm running Brembos so I need an SRT wheel... Hopefully the 9.5 SRT reps will work fit with the Brembos.

Re: 265x50x20 question

download the tires specs from nokian : http://nokiantyres.studio.crasman.fi...sh_2014-15.pdf

it states 9.5 is the widest you can go with that tire.
