275-55-20 All Terrain TA KO2

Just saw this. Is anybody running the TA KO2 on stock 20inch altitude rims without rubbing the control arm bolt?

My Zeon LTZ are down to about 5/32 and they are starting to become like slicks in the snow. Trying to get through the winter with them while I shop around.

FYI:
31.8 X 11.2 is the actual size.

Yeah. Same size as Zeon LTZ measured on a 8.5" rim. Wondering if anyone is running these successfully without hitting the control arm bolt.

Re: 275-55-20 All Terrain TA KO2

Greetings,

Subbie09, Nitto has a new tire as well, the Exo Grappler, the closet size they have is a LT 275/65/20 Q rated.

Exo Grappler All Weather Traction Light Truck Tire

Both tire companions finally got around for looking into winter driving. BFG, I know from others the previous model was good in only certain winter conditions. With the new model, it should help tremendously. I have no idea on the noise level of this AT tires.

Best for now.

Greetings,

Very similar design to the Discoverer Series. I am not sure which compound Cooper uses for the Mastercraft. My guess it is going to be a harder compound similar to what Cooper makes for PEP Boys Dakota series which I use for the company's work van. It does a decent job in the winter.

If the priority is for better traction in the winter, then it is best to go with a premium tire. Otherwise any of these tires mentioned here is going to be fine for the on/off road AT usage.

Best for now.

Re: 275-55-20 All Terrain TA KO2

Hey guys I'm looking into these too....love bfg just didn't want these last time because no snow rating. Looking at the size specs I'll list below

Cooper (we know these fit). Bfg ta ko2
Section width. 11.2 on 8.5. 11.2 on8.5
Overall diam. 31.93. 31.8

Based on those numbers they are actually a little smaller than the coopers which I have now and haven't had a problem.....thoughts?
