More importantly, Jmarcher, do you have any video of the light setup on your WK2?

So looking to order these KO2's soon. I'm ordering 5, does anyone know if it will fit where the spare tire location?

Doubtful, because the tire would be too wide and would not let the cover close completely.

Some who have upsized to A/T 20" tires have gone to a thinner A/T tire (of the same tire) for the spare so that the O.D. is a close enough match for driving, and yet narrow enough so it'll fit well enough in the holder to allow the cover to fully close.

It is key to match the O.D.

I haven't done that yet but that is my plan.

I have some grainy cell phone videos of on-scene use, but I really should put something small together of responses. Unless of course you're just looking for basic stuff like flash patterns?

As echo7tango stated, no, it won't fit. I have a 255/70-18 as my spare, 32.1 OD for the spare vs 31.9 OD for the KO2's and the spare hatch barely closes with the cubbies removed. Any wider and I'd be SOL.

Remember guys. The spare tire does not need to as wide. It only needs to have the same outer diameter.

If you call rocky road they should be able to send you just the back piece of the full spacer lift since you already paid for the front, if you wanted to go that route.

I have these tires and am planning on using a 265/65/18 tire for a spare. It is 31.5" tall and the bfgs are 31.8" so that gives room for tire wear. I've been told it's best to stay within a 1% difference which is a little over .3". I just hope it will close with a 265 diameter tire in there. Actually I have my latitudes in the garage so I will go check. Almost forgot to mention, you will need a full size rim, the 18x4" will not fit a full size tire if you have the compact version.

are you saying you bent your door panel with the 275/55/20 bfgs ??? I have these tires and off road a bit.

I'm pretty sure they won't fit. I put a 265/60/18 in there today and it fit but barely.

Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

I wish these came in in the stock 265/50/20 size to avoid any issues. I loved these on my Rubicon. They had less road noise than the stock Fortera's which whine in my opinion on some roads.
