Are you looking at the pop-up window that comes up when you click on tire sizes and specifications? They list sizes of 275/60R20 and 275/55R20.

No, I don't think I would. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the most-often brought up ones on this site though. But yes, I'm happy with the A/T IIs and of course I'm usually happy with Les Schwab's customer service too.

What would you go with next time around? The Goodyear Silent Armors?

You guys running the 275/55/20 GY Silent Armors any regrets with the larger size tire? I do my share of long trips, hwy, etc. so after using them how is the mpg, acceleration, etc.? I don't have QL so looking at the 275s plus the leveling kit.

If you can find any as I believe Silent Armor is discontinued.

Re: 275/55/20 GY Silent Armor (pics)

I really like how my Goodyear AT Adventures have performed so far. I've had them on for a little over 3,000 miles.

They are also the replacements for the Silent Armors and look very similar in tread pattern and design.

But as stated above, I think most of the newer AT tires on the market will perform almost equally as good an one another on road. Off road I think is where they are put to the test and show variation, which I can't really comment on too much with my Adventures because I'm on road 95% of the time. But with that, I will say they have done great on the street, are quieter than the Forteras on the freeway and they look so much better than the On/Off road sadness that Jeep provides stock.

Re: 275/55/20 GY Silent Armor (pics)

I've had the adventure kevlar for only about 500 miles. No impact on ride, being diesel, it is a little more laggy off the line a bit, but if you want to, it moves fine. Based on computer read out, we dropped from 25+mpg to 22-23 ish, which I figured would happen.
Wanted the duratracs, but when the wife said "get whatever" I knew that meant don't get the cool looking ones that will be rougher and eventually noisier. She said she didn't really care, but thought they might ruin the ride/comfort a bit. Just wanted something a little tougher looking than the forteras(which I have for sale with 2k miles on them). Wife works at Goodyear corporate so got these, otherwise would've been Toyo At 2s or Terra Grapplers, loved them both on my work trucks.

I almost went with the Duratracs too, but pretty glad I didn't. They definitely look cooler, but don't perform as well on road as the Adventures and I feel like they would've gotten on my nerves after a while. I just don't go off-roading enough.

The Adventures look nice on your Jeep though. Good choice.

Looks so much better.

Notice any difference in driving with the little time you've driven on them?
