Re: 275/55/20 Toyo Open Country A/T II
Thanks to turbospartan for the assist. I just took pics this morning after two days of rain. The top most pic is at Park Lowered to show it at lowest body height. The tires have about 8,000 miles on them and show very little wear. What wear you see is very even at 36-37 psi cold, rotated about 5,000 so I just had the second rotation this past Saturday--the slight fluffing on the sipes are from the fronts that are now in the rears. They have a nicely rounded shoulder as opposed to a more squared shoulder for LT sized tires. This gives better performance in a more performance oriented size/vehicle like the Grand. As you can see from the wear marks, it rides pretty flat right across the face of the tread. The larger size gives a squatter, meatier, more pugnacious stance to the vehicle and Wifezilla now wants a set for her Laredo X.
Overall, I really like the ride. It's quiet, firm, with plenty of grip in wet. No snow this winter to try but I have no doubt it will not disappoint. My next road trip is in Mid-August so we'll see how it does.
