275/55R20 on 2WD/NON QL fitment issues

Seen/reviewed plenty of threads regarding upsizing tires on models with 4WD and QL to 275/55R20, but was looking at installing these on my stock 20x8 wheels - I don't have 4WD/QL. I have the stock Bridgestone Ecopia 422 on my 16 limited 75th and I would like a little more sidewall for the bumpy roads. Between the Michelin Premier LTX and Defender LTX. Have the Defender LTX on my JKU wrangler and haven't found a flaw yet, but understand the premier might be a bit better for the street oriented WK2 that never goes offload.

Wasn't sure how normal QL ride height, or even steel spring 4WD, is compared to my stock 2WD ride height, so wondering if anyone with first hand experience on this tire and its 31.91 diameter works on the 2WD. Don't want to run into any rubbing issues, while I don't offload I live in an area where the roads really work your suspension travel (potholes and broken pavement).

AFAIK, "normal" ride height is pretty much similar across 2WD and 4WD, regardless of suspension, not including the SRT. ~32" is the limit without physical body modification.

Re: 275/55R20 on 2WD/NON QL fitment issues

I have a 2wd no QL WK2 2011.
Stock Overland 20" wheels and 275/55R20 BFG Rugged Terrain

Ride is great, no rubbing ever under any conditions. Have put about 60K miles on these tires, about to swap them out due to some bad luck with a nail.

On a personal note I love the way the jeep sits with slightly bigger tires and love the way the jeep rides with the stickier, slightly wider rubber.

Would strongly recommend upgrading the size tire.

They fit as long as you don't have spacers. I had 1.25" and had to remove them when I got this size tire.
